Titanic video on the show you how to place these three decimals on a number line and let's start with this 1.7 this one and this 3DS turn the tenths place and basically for the .7 what that means is you need to cut the integral from 0 to 1 into 10 equal size pieces so I'mma start by cutting it in half that the point five and then I'm going to cut this side one two three four five into 5 full size spaces 1 2 3 4 5 in the another 5 equal sides face is so if I ruin too I can make sure it goes 1 2 three four five there's the five six seven eight nine 10 so from 0 to 1 we've cut it into 10 equal sized faces is .7 means I need to move over seven of those 10 equal sized faces so right here is where the .7 would go .115 now this one right here means I'm going to go  to this location right here now .1 here's .2 so .115 because of this one right here means I'm going to be this number is going to be low somewhere between these two places right here this one means I'm going to cut from .1 to .2 into 10 equal spaces one two three four five six seven eight nine 10 fairly even and on the move over one of those faces the five means the space between their into 10 equal sized faces so really 115 is going to be way the heck down here point one I'm fine lot of people think that .115 is way bigger than .7 not true at all .7 is way over here on the number line .115 is way of the left lastly 1.3 means I'm going to go to the 1 and I'm I need to cut the low distance from 1 to 2 into 10 equal size pieces so that's about .5 so that's 1.5 need to cut this into 5 equal sized pieces one 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5 and listen to 5 equal sized pieces so I now have 10 intervals means I need to move from the one of those intervals 1 2 3 so here is 1.3 right here on the number line which also automatically tells us that if I were to put these from least to greatest 0.115 is less 0.7 Which is less than 1.3 this is these three numbers in order from least to greatest
